Paradera is located in the northeast of Aruba, in the Paradera district. District Paradera has more than 12,000 inhabitants, about 2,500 of them live in the town of Paradera. The Saint Filomena church, which rises above the rest of the houses, is characteristic of Paradera's skyline. You won't find any major resorts or hotels here, only a few holiday homes reveal the subtle touristic character of this place. Famous rock formations such as the casibari rock formation or the Ayo rock formation show us how Aruba's first inhabitants, the Arawaks, used to live.
