What will be the purpose of your home for sale in Aruba?

Before you buy a home in Aruba, determine the purpose of this house. Do you want to live there permanently yourself, is it an investment in your pension or is the house intended to be rented out to holidaymakers?

The purpose partly determines the interior of the house. Consider, for example, the number of bedrooms and bathrooms. But also the luxury of a swimming pool and other comfortable amenities.

The various places in Aruba each have their own advantage. For example, there are places that are especially suitable for vacation rentals, while other places offer you the desired rest for permanent residence.

What costs can you expect when buying a home in Aruba?

  1. Maandelijkse huur of hypotheekkosten
  2. Gas, water en licht
  3. Riolering

Which place in Aruba is right for me?

With its 180 square meters, Aruba is the smallest island in the ABC islands. Around 111,000 residents have found their own place under the sun here. Aruba is known for the beautiful beaches and hidden beauties in the individual towns. There are also gated communities, where the entrances to a residential area are closed in such a way that there is control over who enters and leaves the neighborhood. Examples include Tiera del Sol or Goldcoast where you can live in peace and quiet.

Each region has its own charms. What questions can you ask yourself to determine which one is best for you?

  • Close to the sea or right in the center?
  • Sufficient play area for children close by?
  • Do you need childcare or a good school close by?
  • Maximum commuting time?
  • Maximum distance from facilities such as the hospital or a sports club?
  • Near or far away from your family in Aruba?

The questions above are a good start in choosing the right environment for your new home in Aruba. Which places in Aruba suit you? You can find them here.

Buying a car in Aruba or moving with you?

There are hardly any bike lanes in Aruba. Most of it is done by car. A car in Aruba is therefore not an unnecessary luxury. We recommend that you bring your own car. You just have to keep in mind that the salty humid air from Aruba's maritime climate has a serious impact on your car. So choose a brand that appears frequently, so you don't have to worry about the parts. There are professional service technicians in Aruba. Common brands include Hyundai, Kia, Ford, Chevrolet, Mercedes, and Toyota.
